American Idol Judges Felt Threatened by Local Greeting

Be careful not to read too much into what someone from Louisville says while heading out the door - like the "American Idol" judges did. The producers of "Idol" apologized Thursday on behalf of its judges, who apparently misinterpreted what a contestant in Louisville, Ky., said after a failed audition.

On his way out, Mark Mudd said: "Take care and be careful." Paula Abdul and Simon Cowell took that as a threat. Abdul scolded Mudd, telling him: "You don't say that to people, 'Be careful.' That's just not a normal thing to say."

It turns out "Be careful" is a regional parting expression. American Idol's producers say they had not heard that from any other contestants, so it took everyone by surprise. A statement from "Idol" producers said: "We now know better and look forward to visiting Louisville again someday."

Well MEGAN CORKREY, something did happen. The AMERICAN IDOL JUDGES loved MEGAN CORKREY's performance and gave her a ticket to Hollywood as a Birthday present.

MEGAN CORKREY has a son named Rider who will be turning 2 years old in December. MEGAN CORKREY said Rider's antics help her through the sometimes difficult times of the divorce "Sometimes he does something and I cannot help but laugh" said 23 year old font designer MEGAN CORKREY .

MEGAN CORKREY is from Sandy Utah recently decided to get divorced because as she put it "Life was not what I planned it to be." I'm sure that will make for some interesting songs if and when she makes it to the big time. The AMERICAN IDOL JUDGES have no doubt MEGAN CORKREY has what it takes to make it. Randy said "I kinda like you" Paula followed up with "I really like you, I'm bordering on loving you", in a rare moment, Simon said "I absolutley loved it" Kara DioGuardi was a little more low key and said "Interesting Girl, you have a glow about you."

Although KARA DioGUARDI and PAULA ABDUL weren't big fans, SIMON and RANDY definately wanted to see more of BIKINI GIRL KATRINA DARRELL.

Showing up for the audition in a BIKINI, KATRINA DARRELL wowed the male section of the audience with her bounce. Even though KARA DIOGUARDI was not a fan of her pitch, she did request that KATRINA DARRELL show up NAKED for the next performance. Aside from wiping away the drool and adjusting their pants, RANDY and SIMON really did not have all to much to say about BIKINI GIRL KATRINA DARRELL's performance. Although Randy did request a repeat of her jubilation bounce.

RYAN SEACREST was equally speechless when the BIKINI clad KATRINA DARRELL said she wanted to make out with him. Sounds like BIKINI GIRL KATRINA DARRELL will stop at nothing to get noticed... Question is, is that a good thing for the show? I know I enjoyed watching the bounce. Singing, not as much.
